“Life appears as a string of ordinary, near random events with occasional brief moments of genius
where it would seem that one must be guided by Divinity. To labor at art is in itself a failing. A few strokes
of the brush or pen give life, but it takes all day to really make a mess. The je-ne-sais-quoi factor is just
that. For if we knew, we could avoid all that wasted effort, not to mentioned the wasted paint, ink, and
glossy photo paper. So on these walls, you may see that genius, but not the scrapped attempts. Thank God
for digital photography or we all may have filed Chapter 11.
